ABOUT ME

Not everyone can say they have a Clio for writing the tagline for Meg 2: the Trench, but I can! My name is Shane and I love what I do! I’ve been writing copy for entertainment advertising since 2015 and I’m very proud of the work I have accomplished on such titles as Wicked, Monkey Man, Barry, The Fabelmans, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I also love movies. I love talking about them. I’ve been very fortunate when my interests allign and I have the privilege to write copy for films I’m very passionate about.

Since graduating from USC, I’ve worked all over the entertainment industry - on set, in post-production, and in advertising. I’ve worked in-house at major agencies and on my own as a freelance copywriter.

I have my own voice as a writer, but as a copywriter I understand there is nothing more important that capturing the tone and voice of the specific film / tv show / game / product / whatever! at hand. It’s exactly how I’ve been able to write for titles as far-ranging as the mega-blockbuster Barbie and the blood-spattered video game franchise Mortal Kombat.
